The State Treasurer’s conference to expand the financial literacy of women was wonderful. The Lewis & Clark Library System and 12 member libraries co-sponsored exhibit (10 Reasons Smart Women Use Their Library) was a crowd pleasing success. Congratulations to eight of our schools that have been awarded grants from the Library Book Selection Service Endowment Fund. The grants provide each of the libraries with a set of books in the Monarch, Rebecca Caudill, or Abraham Lincoln programs. These programs promote reading and allow students from kindergarten through the 12th grade to share their love of reading and vote for their favorite book.
