A reminder that the LCLS firewall will be undergoing an upgrade starting at 10pm Thursday, December 16.

The upgrade is expected to take approximately 15 minutes, and no more than 1 hour.

During the upgrade, LCLS-hosted resources will be unavailable. This includes the Millennium database, the GateNet online catalog, proxy access to online databases and any websites hosted at the System.

A message will be sent out as soon as the upgrade is complete and service is restored.

The GateNet Millennium server is again operational.  This morning’s downtime was caused by a faulty power supply.  The server may be down in the future for repair, however it will be a planned downtime and all efforts will be made to minimize the impact to members and patrons.

We are currently unable to connect to the GateNet Millennium server.  At this time we are working with Innovative Interfaces Inc. tech support and will post updates to the web site and GateNet listserv as soon as more information is available.

If you have the offline circulation module at your library, you may wish to utilize it for the interim.

We appreciate your patience as this matter is investigated and resolved.
