The next Planning Panel meeting is this Thursday, February 10, 2011, from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm, at the Effingham Knights of Columbus (1501 W. Fayette Avenue, Effingham, IL).

The meeting of the four southern systems (Lewis & Clark, Lincoln Trail, Rolling Prairie, and Shawnee) Planning Panel is scheduled to allow each system board to move forward towards a merger of the systems.  Topics to be discussed will include Bylaws, Membership Standards, and a Resource Sharing Policy for the new system.

The Lewis and Clark Library System just received its first payment for FY2011 in the amount of $315,279.11.  We are thrilled to receive funding much earlier than originally anticipated, and look forward to completing the merger process to ensure continued support of materials delivery and automation for our members.
