Libri Foundation Grant

Grant Synopsis:

The Libri Foundation accepts applications for its Books for Children grants three times each year. The Libri Foundation is a nationwide non-profit organization which donates new, quality, hardcover children’s books to small, rural public libraries throughout the United States. Since October 1990 the Foundation has donated over $2,800,000 worth of new children’s books to more than 2,200 libraries in 48 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. ALIBRIS Collection Award

Grant Synopsis:

The ALIBRIS Collection Award is an annual grant of up to $3,000 work of books awarded to academic, public, special, or K-12 library supporting a specific collection development project that advances the mission, priority areas and the goals of the selected library.

The purpose of the Collection Award is to help provide materials for libraries with replacement projects, retrospective projects or routine collection building needs. The award is not monetary, but consists of books worth $3,000 maximum. Grant awards are announced each year at ALA Midwinter.
