On Wednesday, April 13, 2011, Lewis & Clark Library System participated in Snapshot Day 2011 and collected data similar to our member libraries. In addition, we had a live stream of the happenings in the courier services area so you could watch what happens in a typical day of sorting materials.

Seven delivery routes ran yesterday and our drivers stopped at 64 libraries. The courier vans traveled 766.6 miles, which is equivalent to a one-way trip to Toronto, Canada.  Drivers delivered 4,673 items to our libraries and picked up 4,669 items.

Check out a video of our courier drivers unloading the vans after returning from their routes on our Facebook page!
