The Technology Development Manager is a senior management position that participates on the LCLS Administrative Team. This position also has consulting responsibilities. One of its primary responsibilities is to take a proactive leadership role in coordinating the System’s technological capability. The Technology Development Manager manages the Library System’s computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications technology; trains and informs staff in related areas.

The Cataloging Assistant performs original and copy cataloging based on current standards,
performs database maintenance and authority control, and provides training and inventory
support for new GateNet members. This position also assists the Database Coordinator in resolving cataloging problems and maintaining the online catalog primarily for GateNet members.
