Responsibilities:
The Acting Executive Director is responsible for the administration of the System, oversees system planning, budgeting and personnel, acts as the Board of Directors’ ambassador by cultivating and nurturing relationships with the LCLS member libraries, the other regional library systems, the State Library, the Illinois Library Association, various constituencies, legislators, and other organizations and agencies.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include preparing financial information (including payroll), analyzing financial information, and preparing financial reports. Stacy manages the system that tracks income, expenditures (including payroll and payroll tax liabilities), assets, liabilities, profit and losses, and other financial activities within LCLS’s grant accounting environment. This position is also responsible for assisting in the development of budgets, developing long range financial planning, and proposing financial policies and procedures.

This position provides coordination of a variety of administrative functions including finance, budget, human resources, personnel, space and facilities planning, grant administration, continuous learning support, and policy interpretation. Researches personnel issues such as benefits or performance appraisals, provides alternative options, and makes recommendations. Leads and provides guidance for human resources efforts such as documentation of regular LCLS practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:
The Executive Assistant performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. This position also prepares and distributes Board packets, serves as Recording Secretary, and assumes logistics for Board meetings. Additionally, the Executive Assistant assists with special projects, reports, and events.
