Responsibilities:
The Technology Development Manager is a senior management position that participates on the LCLS Administrative Team. This position also has consulting responsibilities. One of its primary responsibilities is to take a proactive leadership role in coordinating the System’s technological capability. The Technology Development Manager manages the Library System’s computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications technology; trains and informs staff in related areas.

Provides support for videoconferencing service, provides tech support for system’s network, presents the PC trouble shooting class, assists staff with set up for CE training, acts as site captain for LTA Illinois classes.

Responsibilities:
The Web Services Specialist focuses on the maintenance and expansion of LCLS online presence, online databases, and other Web services yet to come. Responsibilities include the development, implementation and maintenance of online databases and infrastructure that support the needs of LCLS and its member libraries.
