The GateNet Manager is a senior management position that participates on the Administrative team and is responsible to the Executive Director of the Lewis & Clark Library System. Principle responsibilities include: *Take a proactive leadership role in coordinating the LLSAP (Local Library System Automation Program *Work closely with the GateNet Advisory Board *Provide advice, offer demonstrations, and provide information on best practices in delivering integrated library services *Engage in initiatives that improve customer service, as well as increases the visibility and appreciation of the services provided by library systems and libraries in general *Manage, guide and oversee the planning, implementation, and day-to-day operation of the GateNet integrated library system and staff

The Cataloging Maintenance Center (CMC) Cataloging Assistant performs copy cataloging as a database clean-up service for library systems across the state of Illinois. This position is funded under the Illinois State Library Cataloging Maintenance Center Grant. The CMC Cataloging Assistant’s responsibilities are subject to the parameters of the grant and are subject to change. The Lewis & Clark Library System’s CMC is one of three grant-funded centers across Illinois providing bibliographic record clean-up and original cataloging services.
