Technology Manager - Wood River Public Library

Wood River Public Library is currently seeking an innovative, self-motivated, enthusiastic Technology Manager. This part time position averages 18 hours per week, with evening and weekend hours. The technology manager is responsible for  maintenance and upkeep of all Library technology, including  hardware, software, and networking for 13 patron-use computers, 6 staff computers, and 2 dedicated catalog computers. The Technology Manager is also responsible for maintaining the library's website. The Technology Manager answers directly to the Library Director, and will have other duties as assigned, including basic Circulation Desk functions. Applicants should be comfortable working with the public and training patrons on basic computer skills, e-readers, and other technology.  Evening and weekend hours required. Technology manager must have experience working with networks and website design.

(IMSA) Patron Services Coordinator (Talking Books Program) - IHLS (Du Quoin)

The Patron Service Coordinator fills daily orders for machines and assists patrons with Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) downloads and related BARD issues for the entire state of Illinois. Promotes Illinois State Library Talking Books and Braille Service (ISLTBBS) through networking and outreach efforts. Participates in the National Library Service and KLAS data-management conferences. This a grant funded position.

IT Specialist - IHLS

The IT Specialist supports staff hardware and software. This position works with the IT Director to implement and monitor the functions of the network and computer systems, as well as software.

Manager, Researcher Information Systems - UIUC

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks a collaborative and service-oriented professional for the position of Manager, Researcher Information Systems. The successful candidate will manage and implement a set of researcher information systems, including a researcher profile system (based on the Elsevier Pure Experts Portal – formerly Scival Experts) and a researcher identifier system (ORCID), and will work in close collaboration with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR), the campus academic technology unit (CITES), the University’s administrative computing unit (AITS), college and departmental research officers, and colleagues within the University Library. Applied Health Sciences Librarian - UIUC

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library seeks an innovative, intellectually curious, and service-oriented individual to provide subject expertise for multi and interdisciplinary programs in the applied health sciences. This individual will also support collections, services, and programs related to social equality and cultural understanding especially as applied in the health fields. Associate University Librarian for Library Information Technology - UIUC

The University of Illinois Library seeks a collaborative, innovative, and service-oriented leader for the position of Associate University Librarian (AUL) for Library Information Technology.  This position reports to the University Librarian and Dean of Libraries, is a part of the Library senior management team, and works collaboratively with the AUL for Research, the AUL for Collections, and the AUL for User Services.  We seek a professional who views the library as an integral part of a top-tier research university, and who brings to the role a deep understanding of the evolving role of the library on campus, in higher education, and in the broader library and information science community.

The AUL for Library Information Technology will lead the development of information technology in the Library, participate actively in Library and campus IT governance stakeholder groups, and be responsible for leadership, management, and planning for the services and infrastructure in the Office of Library Information Technology (IT) which includes 25 FTE professionals in several functional areas:  IT Production Services --Help Desk, Infrastructure Management, Workstation & Network Support, Web Development; Software Development; Repository and Scholarly Communications; and Access & Discovery Support.
