Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department managers, all levels of employees, staff committees, community groups, and residents is expected. Excellent project management skills, problem solving, communication skills, and operational management skills are needed. Required: MLS from ALA accredited library school. Progressively responsible management experience in a public library. Minimum of seven years of management and administrative experience.

Summer Reading Saturday programs – during the months of June – August the YS Assistant participates in the Summer Reading Saturday programs, offering assistance to the parents and children who attend the events.
