Technical Library Assistant (Davenport, IA)

The Technical Library Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of both technical and specialty tasks and responsibilities in the Library’s Access, Collection Management, Information and Instruction and Special Services departments. Duties include communicating with staff on a regular basis regarding status of projects and changes in policies and procedure; utilizing appropriate Library departmental software to manage, organize and perform data entry as required; analyzing effects of Library software on procedures; trouble-shooting minor computer software problems.

Library Assistant (Davenport, IA)

The Library Assistant is responsible for the successful completion of a variety of assigned tasks and projects supporting library departments. This position will assist patrons in identifying or locating material; perform data entry to library databases, records and accounts, both computerized and manual; verify accuracy and completeness of data; order materials, verify invoices and materials received; maintain and prepare complete and accurate statistical reports as assigned.

Library Director (Herrin)

The current Library Director of the Herrin City Library, Michael Keepper, will be retiring after 23 years on the job at the end of September 2015. The Board of Trustees of the Herrin City Library has organized a Search Committee to begin the process of searching for a new Library Director.

Law Librarian (Edwardsville)

Cataloging and Database Coordinator (East Peoria)

The Resource Sharing Alliance (RSA) Cataloging and Database Coordinator assists with the daily cataloging operations of RSA member libraries. This position will work closely with the RSA Cataloging and Database Administrator to maintain the quality and integrity of the RSA bibliographic database, MARC records, and digitally archived records.

Schedule includes evening and weekend hours.
