Are you a proactive leader with a demonstrated background in technology?  SMRLD has an immediate opening for a full-time Information Technology Manager who will coordinate SMRLD’s technology.  The primary responsibility is to manage SMRLD’s computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications technology.  The person in this position will also provide advice, offer demonstrations, make recommendations, and provide information on best practices pertaining to technology issues for library services.  This is a management position that participates as part of the Administrative team and reports to the Executive Director.

Qualifications include: a bachelors degree with coursework in computer science or information technology or other relevant coursework and/or equivalent experience; 2-3 years progressively increased responsibility in technology related positions; experience administering networks, Web site, data security, and with standard productivity tools.
