Assistant Librarian / Head of Circulation – Collinsville Memorial Library Center
The perfect candidate will
have an excellent working knowledge of the Millennium Circulation software;
understand and be able to manipulate the List and Reports module of Millennium;
have worked with and supervised a staff of ten or more people;
can work independently and delegate responsibility when needed;
have good decision making abilities that are consistent with the library district’s policies and procedures;
can problem solve quickly and be tactful and customer service oriented when dealing with the public.
The perfect candidate would have a Master’s Degree in Library Science or a related field or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with significant management and library experience. Requires three to five years of progressively responsible experience in library services. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered when determining salary.
