Southern IL library system merger conversations:
The Lewis & Clark Library System Board of Directors agreed at its July, 2010, meeting to participate in merger discussions with 4 southern Illinois Library Systems: LCLS, Lincoln Trail Libraries System, Rolling Prairie Library System, and Shawnee Library System. The board appointed 4 directors and 1 alternate to represent LCLS on the southern systems planning panel. Panel members and their contact information are below. All meetings will be open and all who are interested are encouraged to attend. As soon as a meeting schedule is developed it will be posted on our web site and also on the joint southern systems website Cooperation Today.
