Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to
student learning, research, health care and service, is seeking applicants for
the position of Business Reference Librarian, Pius XII Memorial
Library.

Duties: Provide general reference services (including some evening and
weekend hours), serve as liaison to academic business departments,
teach use and searching of traditional and electronic library
resources, prepare instructional materials, offer individualized
research counseling, and provide subject-area collection development.

Required Qualifications:  Master’s degree in librarianship from a
library program accredited by the American Library Association (or the
appropriate national body of another country).  Demonstrated knowledge
of business information sources based upon relevant degrees,
experience in an academic, corporate, or business library making
extensive use of business resources, or corporate business experience
with extensive use of business resources.  Strong organizational,
interpersonal, and team skills, positive public service orientation,
effective oral/written communication skills, initiative, flexibility,
commitment to professional growth, and research skills in a dynamic
electronic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:  Undergraduate and/or advanced degrees, in
business, from accredited institutions.

Rank: Assistant Professor, non-tenure track, 12-month appointment.
