To help libraries tell all types of officials how valuable their libraries are, the ILA Advocacy Committee has developed materials to be used as part of  February 10 SNAPSHOT ONE DAY IN THE LIFE OF ILLINOIS LIBRARIES.  There are two components of the day.  The first is a gathering of statistics on library services and the second is having patrons comment on what services they need and like that their library provides.  By the end of this week the ILA website will include all  the documents that member libraries can use and customize in order to participate in SNAPSHOT DAY.     Members are  encouraged to comment with their suggestions on how to make the day a success.
