Michaela Finnerty was honored at this year’s ILA conference as the winner of the Young Adult Poster Contest for this summer’s iREAD theme Scare Up a Good Book.  Michaela, her mother, and Elaine Steingrubey and Tammi Eschmann from the Morrison Talbott Library in Waterloo attended the breakfast meeting where Michaela was honored.

As part of the breakfast meeting, Michael and Jill Thompson, the poster designer of the children’s poster for the Scare Up a Good Book program, signed posters for librarians from throughout Illinois.  The poster is part of the IREAD catalog and can be ordered by contacting www.ila.org and clicking on the IREAD logo on the left.
